Studio Smack wins European Design Award

After a nerve-racking few months we finally got the news last night. From the enormous conference room of De Doelen in Rotterdam the winners of the European Design Awards 2010 were announced. In the category Motion Graphics we were awarded Silver for our work ‘Pimp My Planet'. We'd like to express our joy by saying: Hooray!

The European Design Awards is the comprehensive annual awards organization acknowledging the best of graphic design, illustration and multimedia design in Europe. It is based on a collaboration of 14 prestigious communication design magazines in Europe who have taken upon them to support and promote the event.

This work was commissioned by Art institutes KOP en MU were it was part of the exhibition ‘HIER&DAAR' in 2009. Pimp My Planet is currently part of an exhibition at Graphic Design Museum in Breda.
